Do I need a GP referral for neck lift surgery?

You typically do not need a GP referral for neck lift surgery. If you think a neck lift is something you would like to have done, your surgeon will be happy to see you for a consultation to discuss your options.

However, the surgeon may need to access your medical records for more details of your medical history. For this, they will need to contact your GP after requesting your permission.

In rare cases, some medical conditions may need a sign off from your doctor prior to having the neck lift surgery, but your Patient Care Adviser will let you know if this applies to you.
