Jon Corke BSN, RN
Patient Care Adviser Team Lead and Medbelle Author
With Medbelle Since 2018
Jon Corke is a nurse with international experience and management skills.
He began his career in healthcare by moving from his hometown in Regional New South Wales to Sydney, Australia in order to study nursing.
Upon graduating, he began working as a nurse in a trauma centre. This experience solidified his skills in resuscitation, phlebotomy as well as clinical and non-clinical patient management.
In this fast-paced environment, he also placed emphasis on providing efficient patient-focused care. In this role, he also expanded his patient flow, team management and leadership skills as well as other clinical skills including paediatric resuscitation and advanced life support.
After moving to London, United Kingdom he entered the field of healthcare management. While here, he oversaw and managed care coordinators. This role involved daily briefings and discussing solutions to potential roadblocks with carers.
He also built strong relationships between the organisation, carers and patients while promoting patient-centred care at every level.
This patient-centred focus helped him excel upon joining Medbelle and he quickly became a Patient Care Adviser Team Lead. Currently, he is the direct manager of a team of 6 Patient Care Advisers and helps them daily to provide our patients with comprehensive care throughout their patient journey with Medbelle.
