39 years old Nilesh Sojitra London Breast Enlargement and Breast Uplift

What were the first steps you took towards having treatment?

I found medbelle on the internet, they had good reviews and when I called they were so helpful.

Finding Medbelle: how was your first call with your patient care adviser?

The first call was really good, I knew straightaway I wanted to use medbelle, the advisor was lovely, at the time I had just begun a vast weight loss journey and medbelle stayed in touch with me throughout until I got to my 6 stone goal and was ready for my consultation.

How was your consultation?

Sarah at medbelle fully prepared me for the consultation, we went through what questions I had and she sent me informative videos, and pre op informations etc. She called me before the consultation too to make sure I felt okay. Once meeting dr nilesh sojitra I had made my mind up that he would be the surgeon I wanted for the op, I was really embarrassed by my chest and he just put me at ease,he explained that I would need bilateral uplifts and implants and also the largest implants I could have for the skin type and shape I had, he explained what was achievable for me and that he didn’t want me to go too big as I would end up back in surgery in a few years due to sagging and risk of breast implant flipping. he asked me when would I like to have the procedure and gave me his avalible dates. I wanted the earliest date, approx 6 weeks from the consultation. To Secure the day I had to pay a 10% deposit and Sarah from medbelle worked late for me that evening and processed everything to secure the booking. I was so happy and felt like I was really being listened to cared for. I had all the confirmation details etc before bed!!!!

How did you feel on the day of your treatment?

I was really excited for the pre assessment day, the nurse at Highgate was amazing, friendly and really informative. She made me feel positive and excited that I had only 1 week to wait! She gave me clear post op instructions too. Sarah advises me to stay in a hotel the night before the operation and the hospital is 2 hours away from me by train so I did and was grateful for the advice, I took a friend to stay with me and we had a lovejy child free evening and the excitement was building for the op. The morning of the op I had to arrive at Highgate at 7.30am ready for the 9.30 op, I arrived at 7am and they were ready to take me to my room, every face I saw was happy and friendly and I felt at such ease. By 7.30 am the anesthetist had already come to see me to explain what would happen, then the nurses arrived to do my obs, blood pressure, oxygen Sats, get me changed. By 8.30 dr sojitra was in the room drawing on my chest ready for the surgery. It was all so efficient. I wasn’t nervous at all, every time I looked at my chest it made me feel sad and I’m womanly, I know it was due to such extreme weight loss but I was so ashamed of them. At 9.20 they were at my door ready to walk me to the theatre. Even being prepped for theatre was positive and I was laughing and chatting with all the theatre staff before I went to sleep.

One week after treatment

When I awoke from surgery I felt sore but not overly in pain, once they saw I was awake they gave me more pain relief and I then felt fine. They took me back to my room where I slept on and off all day, the pain was well controlled, I did struggle to sleep due to sitting up but the surroundings were lovely. I stayed over night and felt so good the next morning I got up and did full make up and straightened my hair and got all dressed to be released them the tramadol kicked in ! My friend arrived and we travelled home in an Uber and all was smooth. The first few days I didn’t find particularly painful just tight swelling, the bra I had bought was too tight for me so had to get another one and that helped, the strong pain killers are what I struggled with the most and gave up on them after 48 hours post op cause they made me feel so awful. The antibiotics were also very harsh on my stomach and gave me horrible stomach pains and really made me feel awful. By the monday( 4 days postop) I was no longer taking pain relief and the antibiotics had finished. That’s when I started to feel great. I must admit around day 7 postop the swelling started to go down and I felt the boobs were shrinking in front of my eyes and I was very tearful for a few days, each day after is getting better and better now. I’m starting to fall in love with my breasts and have shown them to anyone willing to look lol.

One month after treatment

One month after treatment and I’m feeling great, nipples occasionally feel a bit sore but that’s too be expected. Some shooting pain and more sensitive but was forewarned about this. I’m wearing a sports bra still day and night and have treated myself to a couple of nice bras for nights out even though I haven’t been measured properly yet. Moisturing a few times a day and using some scar cream. Underneath scars slightly pull if I reach up too high but that’s just where the skins tight. The implants still feel quite high up but are settling well. Scars are fading really quickly especially on one boob, can’t wait to start exercising again , have been given clearance to continue next week, can’t wait!!! All in all alls good, no real pain anymore and clothing looks so much nicer now.

Sorry was having trouble logging in. I’m really happy with the procedure and they do look natural, they cost 7000 for the uplift and implants in all. Only thing I would recommend is making sure your happy with the size you want to end up with, I feel mine are now far too small for why I wanted, even though saying that they are nicely shaped and purt and a million miles away from how awful they were. I would also advise having the procedure done after you have finished having children. I’m actually considering going u see the knife again to have them bigger but it will be much cheaper next time as I won’t require the uplift. My surgeon was very professional and explained that if I had gone bigger at the time they would sag quicker and there is a chance of the implant flipping. I’m wearing a c cup now and before the op I was an a but was ideally aiming for around a double d. I’m not scared at all about going through the procedure again as it wasn’t painful and I healed really quickly and my scars are so faded now, you can’t even see the nipple scars. My boyfriend thinks they are great but I would like bigger out of personal preference. All I’m all though if your considering it I would say go for it, my whole experience has been positive. 😀 x

Wow that is brilliant. I eventually want to have this done, but not until I have decided that I dont want anymore children. I have a girl and a boy, so am grateful every day, for being a mum, is the most wonderful thing a woman will EVER do.

      What a lovely comment Aimee-Marie!
