Who We Are and What We Do

At Medbelle, we are dedicated to ensuring every patient receives the best possible care tailored to their unique needs. Our mission is to make high-quality healthcare accessible, efficient, and patient-centric.

Our website, medbelle.com, is a valuable resource where you can learn more about our services, our team of experts, and the treatments we offer. Here, you can also explore patient testimonials and gain a deeper understanding of our commitment to your well-being. We believe healthcare should be simple, allowing you to focus on your care and recovery.

Why Your Surgeon Chose Medbelle

Your surgeon has referred you to Medbelle because we share a common goal: your health and recovery. Surgeons partner with us because they trust our expertise, dedication to patient care, and commitment to excellence in all treatments.

The Medbelle Care Programme

One of the key benefits of choosing Medbelle is our exclusive Medbelle Care Programme. This comprehensive programme is designed to support you at every stage of your treatment journey.

Medbelle’s mission is not only to provide patients with a simplified and seamless journey but to ensure they feel they are receiving the best-in-class service and experience. To that end, we have developed the Medbelle Care Programme administered with Bupa.

Our Medbelle Care Programme is a benefits programme that supports patients through their entire private care experience. The Medbelle Care Programme entitles patients to:

Finance and Payment Options

We understand that managing the financial aspect of healthcare can be a concern. Medbelle offers a finance option to make your treatment financially manageable. Should this be something you wish to explore, you can discuss this with your Patient Care Adviser (PCA). Your PCA will be able to talk you through deposits, payments and all the T&Cs surrounding paying for your treatment.

Physiotherapy

Some treatments require physiotherapy to support recovery and optimise the surgical results. If you require prehabilitation physiotherapy or post-operative physiotherapy, we can arrange this for you, or you can choose to arrange it independently. The cost can be included in your treatment plan, providing convenience and peace of mind.

Pre-Surgery Preparation

Before your surgery, we'll ensure you are well-prepared physically and mentally. We'll guide you on what to expect pre-surgery and answer any questions you may have. We’re here to book all your appointments and support you in any way we can. There may be a few instances where you must speak to the hospital directly, but you’ll be made aware of these circumstances.

Post-Surgery Care

Recovery doesn't end in the operating room. Our commitment to your well-being extends into the post-surgery phase, and we’ll be with you until your surgeon discharges you. We'll provide the necessary support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful recovery, including physiotherapy and follow-up appointment scheduling.

Terms and Conditions, Aftercare, and Transparency

At Medbelle, transparency is paramount. Your Patient Care Adviser can discuss all terms and conditions with you and outline the details of your treatment plan and aftercare. We are committed to delivering what we promise, and our terms and conditions reflect this commitment.

What to Expect from Your Initial Call with a Patient Care Adviser

Your journey with Medbelle begins with a call from one of our Patient Care Advisers following a referral from your surgeon. They will guide you through the process, answer your questions, and provide the information you need to proceed confidently. They’ll discuss with you where you are currently in your treatment journey, including whether you require an appointment booking, scans to be taken or physiotherapy booked. This is the perfect time to ask any questions you may have.

If you have already had a consultation with your surgeon, your Patient Care Adviser will confirm your details and the treatment plan with you during your initial call. Typically, this will include:

  • Your full name
  • Address
  • GP details
  • Treatment to be performed
  • Location of procedure
  • Number of nights stay in hospital
  • Physiotherapy plans (if required)
  • How you wish to fund your procedure
  • Chaperone support from the hospital
  • Follow up appointments
  • Nominated person's contact information

Ensuring everything is accurate before you receive your treatment offer is paramount; please rest assured, this is why we confirm all the details with you. In the unlikely case of any discrepancies, we will address them directly with your surgeon to ensure your treatment meets your expectations.

Handling Discrepancies in your Treatment Plan

Occasionally, there may be discrepancies between your initial consultation and treatment plan; this is because the surgeon will have factored in all necessary aspects of your care and created a bespoke plan that addresses your personal requirements. Rest assured, this is why we confirm all the details with you. If any discrepancies arise, we will address them directly with your surgeon to ensure your treatment meets your expectations.
