Do I need a GP referral for a Rhinoplasty?

The majority of plastic surgeons are happy to see you for your first consultation without having a referral from your GP. If however, you plan to go ahead with your rhinoplasty, your surgeon may ask to contact your GP. This will be so that they can gather information about your past and current medical history.

Certain medical conditions may require a GP sign off prior to having surgery, but your personal Patient Care Adviser will let you know if that is necessary.
