A form of arthritis caused by stress to the knee joint, either from injury, repetitive movement in the joint, or everyday wear and tear. Symptoms include swelling, pain, and instability.
The wearing down of cartilage within the hip joint, leading to pain, stiffness, and difficulty performing even simple daily tasks, like putting on socks.
A break or crack in part of the hip joint. This can occur from injury or trauma, or when the hip bones become weakened or bear extra pressure from too much weight.
An abnormality in the hip joint which causes the hip to not function properly or even become dislocated. Often happening in babies or those with a family history.
Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI)
Extra growth on the hip bones, causing friction and pressure in the joint. There are many different types of FAI and it may present itself as pain in the lower groin or back.
