He was awarded The Wessex Trainer of the Year awards in consecutive years, as well as a ‘Hospital Hero’ badge for the University Hospital Southampton. Alongside his NHS positions and private practice, Amir is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at University Hospital Southampton, dedicating his time to teaching future surgeons.
