Mr Farhan Syed is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in hip and knee reconstruction and trauma-related procedures. He graduated from Hyderabad, India, in 2007 and completed his FRCS(Tr & Orth) in 2017. Farhan pursued specialised fellowship training in trauma and joint replacement surgery at UHCW and Warwick Hospital, respectively. His career is marked by research contributions, teaching accolades, and significant service improvements in orthopaedic care.

Farhan is passionate about teaching and serves as an educational and clinical supervisor for trainees at various stages of their careers. His dedication to high-quality teaching was recognised when Warwick trainees voted him “Trainer of the Year” in 2022. He also organises educational meetings to enhance postgraduate training and teaches phase 3 students at Warwick Medical School
