Ihsan Mahmood is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, and osteoarthritis management. His advanced training spans the UK and New Zealand, including specialised fellowships in complex trauma and joint replacement surgery. Currently the Service Lead for Lower Limb Arthroplasty at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, he is known for pioneering minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques that enhance recovery and improve patient outcomes. Passionate about mentoring, he supervises trainee surgeons and contributes to research and presentations at global conferences.
