Mr Jawad Sultan is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee procedures and sports injuries. He has undertaken prestigious positions in England and France alongside world-leading surgeons and now holds substantial positions in private and NHS hospitals in Greater Manchester. His work and dedication have been recognised by being awarded “Surgeon of the Year 2018” at the Royal Bolton Hospital, as well as a national prize from the British Association for Surgery of the Knee for his research into the prevention of knee osteoarthritis. His research is widely published in medical journals and he has presented his work both nationally and internationally. Alongside performing complex knee surgery, Mr Sultan is also a trainer for junior orthopaedic surgeons and is an examiner for the University of Manchester.
