Barry Ferris

Mr Barry Ferris is a highly experienced trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a specialisation in knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery (excluding ACL reconstruction), and hand and wrist surgery. He has been practicing for over 40 years and holds the qualification of FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, obtained in 1980. Mr Ferris has worked at prestigious hospitals such as The Cavell Hospital, Kings Oak Hospital, Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, and Spire Bushey Hospital. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and has previously served as a member of the council and as the president of the Orthopaedic section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is also a member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. Apart from his medical career, Mr Ferris has a range of personal interests. He enjoys playing squash and has a passion for building and flying radio-controlled model aircraft. He is also skilled in playing the classical guitar. In terms of research interests, Mr Ferris focuses on degenerative disorders of the wrist. Overall, Mr Ferris is a highly skilled trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with decades of experience.
