Bishoy Youssef

Bishoy Youssef is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2002 and completed his higher surgical training on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Program. He also undertook a specialist fellowship at the North West Pelvic and Acetabular Service and the Centre for Hip Surgery at Wrightington Hospital, further enhancing his skills in complex disorders of the hip and pelvis. His clinical interests include primary and revision arthroplasty of the hip and knee, arthroscopic surgery of the knee, and pelvic and acetabular reconstruction. He is a member of prestigious bodies such as the British Orthopaedic Association, British Hip Society, and Orthopaedic Trauma Society. Mr. Youssef holds NHS positions at the University Hospital North Midlands, Royal Stoke University Hospital, and County Hospital. He also offers consultations at the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital. He is a specialist in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with particular expertise in hip and knee procedures. His qualifications include an MB ChB from the University of Birmingham in 2002 and an FRCS (Tr & Orth) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. He is registered with GMC and obtained his specialist registration in 2014. In addition to his medical career, Mr. Youssef has personal interests in cycling and skiing. His research interests include pelvic and acetabular fractures and periprosthetic fractures.
