Charlie Talbot

Charlie Talbot is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in Harrogate. He trained in the Yorkshire region before completing Fellowship training at the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit and the Department of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in Sheffield. He specializes in keyhole (arthroscopic) shoulder and elbow surgery, as well as offering open surgery for conditions such as joint replacement for arthritis. Mr Talbot also has a general Orthopaedic trauma service within the NHS and has a particular interest in shoulder and elbow trauma/injuries. He holds a membership with the British Shoulder and Elbow Society, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, British Orthopaedic Association, and British Trauma Society. Mr Talbot has a strong academic background and is a published author in various orthopaedic journals. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Leeds and obtained his FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the Intercollegiate Surgical Board. He also has an MBChB degree from the University of Leeds. Mr Talbot is committed to research and is actively involved in attending meetings, conferences, and presenting his work. He is known for his contributions to the field and is a member of the British Shoulder and Elbow Society. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr Talbot offers educational seminars on conditions of the shoulder and elbow for General Practitioners. His areas of interest include shoulder and elbow surgery, as well as sports and upper limb surgery. He also has expertise in treating conditions of the shoulder and elbow and has a special interest in shoulder and elbow reconstruction.
