Conal Quah

Mr Conal Quah is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Lower Limb Arthroplasty. He has a wealth of experience in managing primary joint replacement surgery as well as complex problems around joint infection, periprosthetic fractures, and bone loss. Mr Quah's NHS practice is based at Royal Derby Hospital. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Dundee in Scotland and completed the highly regarded Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery training programme in the East Midlands. He has also completed prestigious national and international fellowships, enhancing his skills and expertise. Mr Quah has published numerous scientific articles, co-founded a surgical journal for trainees, and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students, surgical trainees, and other healthcare professionals. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society. Mr Conal Quah has a special interest in hip and knee surgeries. His areas of expertise include hip osteoarthritis, knee osteoarthritis, meniscal knee injury, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and arthroscopic meniscal surgery. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society. Mr Quah has a strong academic background and has contributed to the field through publications and presentations. He is known for his teaching abilities and is involved in various national and international courses where he imparts clinical skills and surgical techniques. In addition to his medical profession, Mr Conal Quah has other interests such as co-founding a surgical journal aimed at trainees. He is dedicated to teaching medical students, surgical trainees, and allied healthcare professionals. Furthermore, he is actively involved in delivering international and national presentations in various locations around the world.
