Daniel Cohen

Mr Daniel Cohen is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over five years of expertise. He specialises in Trauma & orthopaedic surgery, with particular focus on Hip and Knee replacements. Mr Cohen holds multiple positions, including being the Hip & Knee Replacement Lead Surgeon at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Salford, Manchester. He also runs an NHS consultant-led Trauma Service at The Royal Oldham Hospital, managing various fractures of the lower limb. Having received commendation for his Medical Degree from the University of Liverpool, Mr Cohen went on to complete Higher Surgical Training on the Mersey rotation and various fellowships, such as the John Charnley International Arthroplasty Fellowship. He has been recognised with awards like the Jacques Duparc Award from the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics & Traumatology. With memberships in prestigious organisations like the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Orthopaedic Association, Mr Cohen contributes significantly to surgical education and training at local and national levels. Outside of his medical career, Mr Cohen enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in activities like golf, table tennis coaching, skiing, and diving. He has travelled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia, and South America. His research interests focus on hip and knee replacement outcomes, and he has published and presented on a variety of Orthopaedic topics nationally and internationally.
