Dominic Simon

Mr Dominic Simon is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He obtained his medical degrees from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1996 and completed his surgical training in the Northwest Thames Region. He further specialized in upper limb surgery during a fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Mr Simon has a special interest in shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist surgery, utilizing both arthroscopic and open surgical techniques. He is particularly interested in sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. Mr Simon currently holds a position at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Simon has a passion for research. He holds a Master of Surgery Degree for his thesis on rotator cuff disease, for which he has published and presented internationally. His surgical specialties include arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, elbow stabilization and arthroplasty, and wrist arthroscopy. He also performs hand surgeries for conditions such as Dupuytrens, arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Mr Simon has a particular focus on shoulder and elbow sports injuries, and he is skilled in diagnostic ultrasound scans and guided injections. Outside of his professional life, Mr Simon enjoys cycling, sailing, surfing, and snowboarding.
