Gurdip Chahal

Mr Gurdip Chahal is a highly experienced and specialized consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon (Foot & Ankle). He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and has a nationally recognized reputation for his expert treatment of foot and ankle injuries. Mr Chahal has undergone extensive training in the field, including a year at the renowned Sheffield Foot and Ankle Unit, where he gained expertise in various areas such as sports injuries, keyhole surgery, minimally invasive surgery, diabetic surgery, ligament reconstructions, and ankle replacements. He has also been actively involved in research projects at Warwick Hospital and is a published author of several papers in journals such as Pediatrics Surgery International, J Bone Joint Surg Br, and Physiotherapy. Mr Chahal holds a number of qualifications, including FRCS Tr & Orth from the Royal College of Surgeons London, MBChB Hons from Leicester Medical School UK, and BSc Hons in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Brighton. He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor and has conducted courses for General Practitioners on topics such as flat foot aetiology and treatment, forefoot deformities, Achilles tendon problems, and plantar fasciitis. His sub-specialties include Foot & Ankle and trauma, and he has a wide range of interests within these fields, including ankle arthroscopy, ankle fusion, ankle replacement, foot orthoses, treatment of bunions, and more.
