Hassan Dashti-Rahmatabadi

Mr Hassan Dashti-Rahmatabadi is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He attended the University of Dundee Medical School and received the prestigious Heller Prize for being the most likely to be the best all-round doctor. He completed his post-graduate orthopaedic training in Dundee and went on to undertake a Spinal Surgery Fellowship in Manchester. He also gained international experience through an International Fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA. Mr Dashti-Rahmatabadi has been appointed as a Spinal Consultant at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Salford Royal Infirmary, where he works in the Complex Spine Unit. He specializes in complex spine surgery, particularly in children with neuromuscular disorders. He also provides spinal clinics at Leeds General Infirmary. Additionally, Mr Dashti-Rahmatabadi is the Governance Lead for the spinal unit at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys reading widely in various subjects to incorporate new ideas and concepts into his practice. Mr Hassan Dashti-Rahmatabadi holds NHS posts at Salford Royal Hospital and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. His areas of special interest include trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with sub-specialties in spine surgery. He is a member of several prestigious medical associations, including AO Spine, British Association of Spinal Surgeons, British Medical Association, British Orthopaedic Association, and British Association of Spinal Surgeons. He is experienced in various aspects of spinal surgery, including microdiscectomy, decompressions, fusion, scoliosis and kyphosis corrections, and pain management techniques such as facet joint injections and epidural injections. Outside of his medical practice, Mr Dashti-Rahmatabadi is a partner in a family bakery and anticipates retiring there in the future. He enjoys reading a wide range of subjects, including behavioural and evolutionary psychology, as well as physics, to incorporate new ideas and concepts into his work.
