He underwent his training in London before completing fellowships in hip and pelvic surgery in France, Switzerland, and the UK. Currently, he holds a position as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the NHS. His areas of interest include knee replacement surgery, hip replacement surgery, knee surgery, hip disorders, arthroplasty, hip arthroscopy, and hip impingement surgery. He is a member of several prestigious medical organizations and has published research papers on hip and pelvic surgery. Mr Mark Williams has a special interest in orthopaedic trauma, hip and knee arthroplasty surgery, young adult hip surgery, pelvic and acetabular surgery, and periprosthetic fracture and revision hip surgery. He is an expert in treating young adult hip pain and pathology, including femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and is actively involved in teaching as an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor and faculty member of the South West Arthroscopy Course.
