Mr Scott Middleton is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery. With expertise in treating a wide range of foot and ankle issues such as arthritis, sports injuries, and deformities, he offers both surgical and non-surgical solutions. Having completed surgical training in Edinburgh and subsequent fellowship training in Vancouver, Canada, Mr Middleton now serves as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in NHS Fife. He holds the position of Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, co-authored textbooks, and is involved in surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His training background includes completion of surgical training in Edinburgh and a fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. Mr Middleton's areas of specialisation include bunion correction, neuroma surgery, foot and ankle fusions, and the management of deformities. His expertise extends to treating arthritis, sports injuries, Achilles and plantar fascia problems. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in education, serving as the Head of Education for EduSurg Ltd and holding a tutoring position for the Master of Surgery in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Beyond his medical career, Mr Scott Middleton has a keen interest in academic pursuits and teaching.
