Yegappan Kalairajah

Yegappan Kalairajah, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, graduated from Cambridge University and Guy�s and St. Thomas� Hospital in London in 1995, with over 25 years of expertise. He has completed advanced training in Sports Surgery, Arthroscopy, and Arthroplasty, with a particular focus on hip and knee surgery. Yegappan currently holds a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon position at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Trust, where he established the hip and knee unit. He has a dedicated interest in teaching, research, and has published extensively in Orthopaedic journals. Yegappan Kalairajah has completed various trainings and holds memberships in prestigious associations such as the British Hip Society and British Association of Surgery for the Knee. With a Master's degree in Engineering on hip acetabulum fixation techniques, he is well-versed in hip and knee surgery. Yegappan's special surgical interests include Sports Surgery, Early intervention hip and knee surgery, and Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Arthroplasty. He is known for his pioneering work in computer-assisted and navigated orthopaedic surgery, contributing significantly to the field. In addition to his medical expertise, Yegappan Kalairajah is actively involved in teaching and research, presenting at both national and international courses and meetings.
