Mr Padman Phaltankar is a highly-experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee procedures as well as hip replacements. He is considered an expert in his field and is highly adept at complex knee replacement procedures and also non-surgical treatments. Alongside his private and NHS practice, he has been widely published in medical journals and textbooks. He is also dedicated to education and ensuring all patients receive the best quality of treatment, to help GPs in their practice, he gives talks and training on various knee conditions and treatments. He also has experience in organising the Orthopaedic component of the MRCS (Member of the Royal College of Surgeons) course held at North Manchester General Hospital.
