About

Rupert Clifton is a highly-experienced consultant orthopaedics surgeon specialising in knee conditions and procedures. He performs several hundred knee operations a year, many of them arthroscopically (keyhole) using the very latest techniques, e.g., Visionaire patient-specific Total Knee Replacement and Anatomic Single Bundle Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction. As part of his commitment to patient safety, he is also very open about his operative experience and fully contributes to both the National Joint Registry and to the National Ligament Registry. In addition to his NHS positions and private practice, he is also the director of Peterborough and Stamford Orthopaedics, a network of specialist surgeons providing orthopaedic care to patients in the area. Patients describe him as calm, kind and hard-working.
