Mr Tony Bateman is an award-winning consultant spinal surgeon with experience in managing degenerative, traumatic and metastatic disease of the whole spine from occiput to sacrum. His awards include a Clinical Excellence Award, 2018/19. His clinical practice includes the emergency and elective management of degenerative, traumatic and metastatic spinal disease. He has a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and has provided medical support for various events, including the Olympics in 2012 and various rowing and motorsport events. Patients describe him as kind and compassionate.
