Jill has been qualified for over 35 years and has a wealth of experience. She has been lucky enough to work throughout the UK both within the NHS as a clinical specialist in a private hospital and in private practice. She has worked in her own practice near Rugby, Warwickshire, since 2003. Jill specialises in spinal and upper limb disorders, including post-operative and post-injection rehabilitation and works closely with several of the local orthopaedic upper limb and spinal surgeons. She utilises a wide variety of treatments to help her patients, which may include education before and after surgery, “hands-on “ therapies such as manipulation, joint mobilisation and soft tissue massage, acupuncture, bespoke exercise prescription, ergonomic modifications/work station assessment, plus advice on self-management, general health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities as a Medbelle Author
As part of the Physio First physiotherapist team in partnership with Medbelle, Jill creates and peer-reviews medically accurate and informative content for patients, including website pages, treatment guides and articles.
- Author - writing content, using up-to-date resources and specialist knowledge and experience to create high-quality content for patients
- Peer-review medical content - an important process in ensuring content written by the physiotherapist team guarantees accuracy and quality is maintained.
