Gareth Roberts is a highly-experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip conditions and procedures. He specialises in Pelvic Trauma as well as Young Adult Hip conditions and hip replacements. He takes pride in giving patients the information and time they need to understand their condition so they can make informed decisions about their treatment. Mr Roberts was awarded an MD (Doctorate of Medicine) for complex computer simulations to predict fractures of the proximal femur. He is keen on developing and implementing new technologies. Mr Roberts works very closely with physiotherapists as part of a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that all aspects of the patient's problems are identified and addressed appropriately before, during and after surgery. Mr Roberts is also fluent in Welsh. Patients describe him as warm, understanding and professional.
