Mr Polyzois is a highly skilled and experienced consultant trauma & orthopaedic surgeon, specialising exclusively in shoulder and elbow surgery. His specialist interests include the latest reconstructive surgery for sports upper limb injuries, arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilisation, upper limb trauma, and upper limb joint replacement. With almost 15 years of specialised training, he is considered an expert in his field.

Mr Polyzois graduated from Liverpool University Medical School in 2001 and completed his postgraduate and Orthopaedic training in Leeds, and carried on further training in London and Athens. This included working in major trauma and elective centres such as, Leeds General Infirmary and University College London Hospital. My Polyzois later completed dual specialist fellowship training in shoulder and upper limb surgery at the Rowley Bristow unit in Chertsey and at the internationally renowned Reading Shoulder Unit centre of excellence. While training in Greece, he was awarded a gold medal and distinction in the Athens Orthopaedic exit exam diploma and also holds the European Fellowship board diploma (FEBOT).
