Tim Spalding is a specialist knee surgeon in the Midlands at Warwickshire Nuffield Hospital. His focus is on ligament reconstruction and knee preservation covering meniscal repair and meniscal transplantation, articular cartilage repair, osteotomy, and novel Ortho-Biologics. He also works in London at Cleveland Clinic London, where he is part of a team of expert orthopaedic surgeons. He has pioneered several new techniques and currently has over 100 publications and 12 book chapters. He leads the UK National Ligament Registry for ACL surgery. Internationally, he is the past president of the ACL Study Group and co-leads the European Allograft Initiative and the ICRS Cartilage Foundation.
