Medbelle are pleased to announce that we have partnered with TotalPhysiotherapy to streamline the orthopaedic patient experience and further bridge the gap between primary and secondary care. This partnership is a great advancement in our ever-growing network of physiotherapist group partners throughout the UK. With TotalPhysiotherapy, we can offer patients in the North West and Midlands access to seamless high-quality care between physiotherapy and surgical care. Partnering with TotalPhysiotherapy is further helping us raise the standard of healthcare for all and implement our mission in providing value-based care.
TotalPhysiotherapy is a network of experienced physiotherapists providing orthopaedic care across 13 clinics in the Midlands and the Manchester area. The group guarantees its high-quality treatment for patients by ensuring that their physiotherapist members are highly qualified and are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Physio First. With a focus on a personalised and holistic approach to care, they also recognise that each patient’s needs are different and offer treatments tailored to the patient.
Lizzie Tuckey, Chief Commercial Officer, Medbelle
“We are excited to partner with TotalPhysiotherapy who are a fast-growing and technology-driven organisation. They are committed to providing a high quality of service to their patients which makes them a perfect partner for Medbelle. We are looking forward to working together.”
Medbelle and TotalPhysiotherapy partnering is a natural step in offering simpler, smarter, and more personal healthcare for everybody. The TotalPhysiotherapy mission, “to support and inspire active lifestyles through expert physiotherapy, health and wellbeing services' ' resonates with Medbelle’s values immensely. We’re both committed to providing high-quality treatments and ensuring our patients have a seamless and caring experience.
Our working together provides the smooth transition from physiotherapy to surgical treatments for patients and specialists alike with patients moving harmoniously from their physiotherapist to their specialist surgeon and back to the same physiotherapist that referred them. Furthermore, physiotherapists and surgeons have access to a dedicated integrated platform that keeps them up to date with their patients' progress and allows instantaneous note sharing between the two, allowing the journey to be clear, smooth, and transparent. As well as the communication between surgeon and physiotherapist being greatly improved, patients also benefit from having a dedicated and personal Medbelle Patient Care Adviser. TotalPhysiotherapy referral patients can rest assured that they have a point of contact and continuous support throughout their surgical journey.
